'Royal Family' Holly are special in the fact that Holly plants have genders (male or female). In order to get the stunning red winter berries, you need to have BOTH genders...'Royal Family' Hollies have BOTH male and female plants growing together in every pot. These plants have a very attractive DARK green, glossy foliage and are loaded with bright red berries fall/winter. Matures to 4' tall and 4' wide. (Plants are approximately 18-24" tall now).

*To create the perfect growing environment: We recommend using Biotone Starter & Organic Potting Mix at time of planting. For great future growth, feed with Holly Tone fertilizer 2 times per year (spring/fall) and use Soil Acidifier 1x per year (spring).
