A profusion of stunning, large, deep reddish purple flowers that bloom late in the season on otherwise bare stems, followed by large, bright green leaves on this handsome, sturdy, upright tree with a narrow crown of upward reaching branches. An excellent landscape specimen. Mature size is approx 20-25' tall and 15-20' wide. (Plants are approximately 3-4' tall now)

*To create the perfect growing environment: We recommend using Biotone Starter & Organic Potting Mix at time of planting. For great future growth, feed with Holly Tone fertilizer 2 times per year (spring/fall) and Soil Acidifier 1 time per year.
