A relatively new patented variety, the Honeycrisp Apple has a texture similar to a crisp watermelon or Asian Pear and is super sweet and juicy. Honeycrisp trees ripens in late September, just before Red Delicious. The Honeycrisp Apple Tree requires a pollinator tree (different variety apple).
